Yoga Time

Practiced some yoga/meditation this morning and closed my eyes and went back to the Grand Canyon for my deep breathing. Important for us include this at least 1-2 times a week. As we get older flexibility, balance, endurance and physical strength is important and yoga πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ helps improve it. This also helps prevent injuries. Meditation helps to keep the mind sharp and clear, relieves stress and improves overall well-being. In other words, more chill and relaxed 😌. Who doesn’t want this?! Take time to take care of you and promise you will reap the benefits!

Nashville 🎸 Rock n’ Roll Marathon

CRAZY hills βœ… Nashville Rock n’ Roll Marathon done😝 !! I thought Boston was tough…geez! The elevation on this course was challenging, (last mile 1/2 had me 🀬 and praying πŸ™ , but beat my goal of 3:30! These are more about getting your mind right once you hit 20 miles and staying positive! Not gonna lie, my right hamstring was wanting to cramp up, but ran nonstop (slower on hills) cause I knew if I stopped it would be hard to get my momentum going. Don’t ever give up on your fitness goals!
